Since these are targeted towards diabetics, it is honestly tempting to think that they are safe for diabetics to eat. Sugar alcohols, however, still contain a fair amount of carbohydrates. So, before you buy sugar free ice cream, make sure to read the label first before you assume that it is free of carbohydrates and if you have a diabetes diet plan, make sure that you consult it first.
